Fixed Asset Maintenance

 

The maintenance section of the fixed asset module holds the configuration setup for the selection lists required to be completed when adding or amending an asset. These lists include lists of employees, locations etc.

You must complete the setup of these lists before you can manually add any Fixed Assets to the system. If they do not exist you will not be able to save an asset.

There are four sections that are included in the Fixed Asset Maintenance;

  1. Asset Category (and sub category)
  2. Asset Locations
  3. Insurance Category
  4. Employee

 

Note: These configuration selection lists will be populated automatically by an import of Fixed Asset using the import spreadsheet and import csv routine if they do not already exist.
