The Sicon WAP module has opened up new markets for Sage 200 bringing fresh opportunities and revenue streams. One particular example of this is the education sector. The WAP based PRS system allows heads of departments to raise requisitions without the need to buy a full Sage licence. This provides a cost effective solution and allows the college to gain greater control of budgets. WAP has also helped in the area of time sheets. Where the older version of Sage WTE was not suitable for a prospect the WAP offering has provided a useful alternative without the need to pay for costly bespoke or integrate to a third party system. Over all Sicon provides an excellent range of complementary Sage 200 products which plug the gaps in many areas of functionality.

Before implementing the distribution stock planning module we had to manually manage approximately 1000 back orders which were very time consuming and ‘best’ allocation of stock to orders was impossible. Orders are now processed and allocated to free stock or ‘associated’ with stock still in the delivery cycle. We have reduced our admin team, reduced our floor space requirement at our outsourced warehouse and our stock control is extremely accurate.’
