Marketing Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic applicant to join our office-based Marketing Team. The successful candidate will be extremely well organised, self-motivated and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as being IT literate, with an outstanding attention to detail.

Based at our Bury St. Edmunds office, you will be managing and executing day-to-day marketing activities, with typical activities such as marketing campaigns across digital, mailshots, product documentation, promotional material and website updates.

You will have excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. You will be committed to delivering first-rate levels of service at all times, and have the desire to forge a successful career in marketing.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to learn and grow as a Marketing Professional, in a friendly environment where hard work and commitment are recognised and rewarded.  Previous Marketing experience would be advantageous, albeit not mandatory as this is a developmental role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing company literature, arranging events, social and website media management
  • Create brand led graphics and optimised imagery to support brand content across all relevant platforms
  • Drafting and creation of marketing material, social posts, product guides, video’s and e-blasts
  • Support with website updates, edits and new additions across all company websites
  • Creating social media content across all platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Monitor all social media audience engagement including reviews
  • Monitor, track, and report on social, website and YouTube analytics
  • Contribute to the overall marketing plan and participate in wider marketing initiatives.
  • Event planning, both online and in person.

Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage time and complete multiple tasks/ assignments with potentially competing deadlines.
  • Always willing to jump in and offer support and say “yes” to taking on new things.
  • Excellent organisation

  • Knowledge of the WordPress website platform (desirable)

Project Administrator

We are looking for an enthusiastic applicant with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our office-based Project Admin Team. The applicant will be able to multi-task, manage time effectively and enjoy a fast-paced office environment. Competitive remuneration offered dependant on experience.

The Project admin team liaise between Customers, Business Partners and internal staff to assist in the smooth running of Sicon projects.

Responsibilities Include:

Working as part of a team; the successful candidate will be, but not limited to; co-ordinating diaries, managing queries, ensuring customers and internal teams are updated as to a projects progress.

You will be required to keep our internal Case & Project Management system updated.

Key skills include:

  • Excellent communication skills, face to face, on the phone and in written communications
  • Ability to converse with clients at all levels.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of MS Office, although training will be given.
  • Good planning, organisation and personal time management skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and have a flexible approach to work.
  • Training on the required aspects of Sage 200 and Internal Systems will be provided
  • At least 1 year admin experience preferred
