Sicon Implementation Consultants

This position would suit someone with experience in the business sectors that our software packages cover in either a consultancy or Training Capacity. We would also be interested in people with Finance experience looking for a career change.

Ideally candidates would have knowledge of ERP system covering financials & commercial areas (preferably Sage 200, but not essential as full training will be given).

Candidates would have a good understanding of business processes, need to be able to demonstrate some basic project management skills, and be able to manage on-site and classroom training sessions.

Office based position that will involve some travel as clients are based throughout the UK and Ireland.

Support Consultants

This role would ideally suit someone who has experience in a support team or as a super-user within a business where they are supporting other users on software systems within their organisation.

As a Support Consultant you will be providing first and second line telephone and remote support to our Business Partners and end user customers using the Sicon additions integrated with their Sage 200 systems.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responding to calls / emails to resolve queries / keep customers informed of progress.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise
  • Keeping the Internal Case Management system updated at all times.
  • Be involved in call management to ensure service level agreements are met, analysis and investigation.

Trainee Sales Executive

This is a fantastic opening for someone looking to learn and grow as a Sales Professional, in a friendly environment where hard work and commitment are recognised and rewarded.

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Trainee Sales Executive role within a fast growing software company. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate great customer service skills and must be a team player. They will also be target driven and enjoy tackling fresh new challenges.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills as well as being IT literate, with a good attention to detail. Whilst some previous sales experience would be advantageous, this is not mandatory as this is a development role.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting the Sales Team revenue targets.
  • Learning the Sicon product portfolio, with a view to delivering online demonstrations of key modules.

Once proven, the right candidate will also have the opportunity to manage a number of Business Partner accounts, with a potential to progress into a field based role in the future.

The Successful applicants will be working as part of our Bury St Edmunds based development team. This team has specialities in specific business sectors, desktop, web and app development. We are looking to build on all aspects of this skills with multiple positions available.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 2+ years professional C# development experience.
  • SQL Server / TSQL experience.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft’s .Net environment.
  • SQL Management Studio and Visual Studio.
  • C# WinForms or ASP.net

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of Application Solution Design.
  • Desire to evaluate and improve existing processes and implement new processes.
  • Experience of WCF / ASP.net Web API.
  • App development skills with Xamarin
  • Experience working with Virtual Machines (Hyper-V / Virtual Box)
  • Experience with Sage 200 Software Development

Project Administrator

We are looking for an enthusiastic applicant with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our office based Project Admin Team.  The applicant will be able to multi-task, manage time effectively and enjoy a fast paced office environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and coordinating new projects.
  • Scheduling Consultants time to projects, testing, training courses and user guide updates.
  • General office administration.
  • Keeping the Internal Case Management system updated at all times.

Key skills include:

  • Excellent communication skills, face to face, on the phone and in written communications / emails.
  • Ability to converse with clients at all levels.
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of MS Office.
  • Good planning, organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Be prepared to work as part of a close team and have a flexible approach to work.
