The latest ‘full release’ version of Sicon modules is Sicon v26.
Sicon v26 is closed to any new features / changes to functionality, any development performed and released in a hotfix will be for bug fixes only. New features are instead being written into our next Development release.
The release cycle for Sicon v26 is for hotfixes (if required) to be released every 2 weeks.
New iterations will be released in approximately 9 week intervals, with no hotfixes available between these dates.
Each iteration will include;
For Sicon v27, we are planning the following release schedule (please note, this could be subject to change):
Each Sicon v27 Early Adopter iteration will involve:
Customers accepting a Sicon v27 Early Adopter version should be made aware of the different (slower) release cycle than Sicon v26. This could involve a customer having to wait up to 9 weeks for a bug fix depending on when it is installed during the release cycle. If the Customer / End User is unhappy with this schedule, we would advise remaining on Sicon v26 until the full release of Sicon v27.
Customers should also be made aware that each release of Sicon v27 Early Adopter will have new features / changes to functionality, i.e. Sicon v27 Early Adopter 1 will have features that weren’t in the last release of Sicon v26; Sicon v27 Early Adopter 2 will have new features that weren’t in Sicon v27 Early Adopter 1. Therefore, applying an update to Sicon v27 Early Adopter version should be treated differently to applying an update to Sicon v26 (updates for which will have included bug fixes only).
Sicon v27 is anticipated for release in March 2027.
On launch of Sicon v27, we will revert to similar policy as for Sicon v26:
Each Sicon v27 release will be published on our Auto Installer.
