We’re looking for a talented Product Owner to join our growing team and take a leading role in bringing this new product to market.

Role Overview:

As Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, shaping its roadmap, and guiding a cross-functional development team through to launch. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Sicon — from development and design to sales and support — to ensure that every feature delivers real value to our customers.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a flagship new product and make a tangible impact from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs and opportunities -helping define the direction of the new product.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, prioritising features and user stories based on business and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
  • Translate customer insights and market trends into actionable product improvements.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that user experience and value are central to development.
  • Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in partnership with the development team.
  • Support the development teams throughout delivery, answering questions and making well-considered course corrections when necessary.
  • Produce all appropriate documentation to ensure both the ongoing development and releases are communicated clearly to both the business and the client base.
  • Work with marketing and leadership teams to support go-to-market planning and launch activities.
  • Work with other Product Owners across the business to help consolidate and strengthen the links between the entire Sicon suite.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a software development environment – with experience leading the delivery of a product or product features. From eliciting requirements and project scoping, right through the project lifecycle, including implementation support.
  • Strong understanding of agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen – a good business head with the ability to make sound decisions that align with company goals and customer needs.
  • A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills. An ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing with stakeholders at all levels both within the business and with clients.
  • A creative thinker. An ability to define solutions that help Sicon continue to innovate and keep our clients engaged.
  • Tech- savvy – whilst you don’t need to be able to code, we like our PO to be tech-savvy enough to understand the nuances and workings of our technologies.
  • Experience managing work items using Jira, DevOps or similar software.
  • The ability to respond to new information quickly in a rapidly changing environment and balance conflicting priorities.
