Sicon Customer Data Request Consent

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), this process outlines our commitment to our Business Partners and Customers set forth by the regulation with regards to Customer Data.

If a support case is raised for an issue with any Sicon product installed on a customer site, or where Sicon is working with a customer and / or a Business partner on a customer’s project on occasions in order to fully investigate any issues raised, we may require access to the relevant Customers Data.

In either case, we kindly ask you or an authorised person, within your company or your business partner to complete this online Sicon Data Request Consent Form to ensure that Sicon has approval to access / obtain the data

Where the customer has a test server that Sicon has access to, one option would be to upload the data to the test server and Sicon investigations are carried out on the test server.

Where no test server is in place, the data would be uploaded to Sicon’s Secure FTP site and Sicon will download the data into our own test environment

On occasion depending on the company’s internal I.T practices and/or security the company’s internal I.T department or external I.T company may be involved to assist with uploading the data, where this applies please provide their details and give permission for us to speak with them

As to which option best suits the customer this would be discussed and agreed by all parties on a case-by-case basis
