10909 – Changing company redirects you to the last used page in the previous company

Detailed Description

Inside of CRM Web, if a user has access to multiple companies, if you logged out and back into another company, CRM Web will try to take you back to the same page you were previously on. This means, if you were on a specific company record and you logged out and logged into a different company, this will show a blank page.

Note: This will NOT show you any details within records so there is no risk of a data breach. Furthermore, this user does have rights to this information through the other company.

Impact: Low

• Urgency | Ability to work not affected; sufficient workaround available.
• Impact | Single User Affected.

Workaround

Once you have logged into the other company, select the Home button to exit this page. Alternatively, you can use any of the action buttons within the left-hand navigation bar.

Note: You will notice that the options within Recents will also include records from the other company. Please do not select these options, as they will lead to a dead end.
