12621 – Sorting Works Order List by column hides some results
Version Reported In
Sicon Manufacturing v.211.0.81
Detailed Description
When there are a high volume of Works Order records in the Works Order List, sorting the works order list by one of the columns can reduce some of the works orders displayed when the number of entries exceed 1000.
When the screen is first presented, all records are shown, and the scroll bar on the right is the standard Sage scroller (up, down, end page, start page). The example below uses Area as a quick example, but other columns behave in the same way.
If one of the headers is tapped to order the list by this column, the “scroll” view is enabled and hides certain results (the issue is this is not explained to the end user so is not obvious this is what has occurred – when the scroll view is activated, this limits results to 1000).
Impact: Low
- Urgency | Ability to work not affected; inconvenient.
- Impact | Single user affected.
Workaround
If looking for a particular selection of Works Orders, it is recommended to create / use the custom filters at the top of the screen to filter specific results first, and then enable the sorting.
If customers are missing works order entries because the scroll view has activated, selecting or deselecting the scrollable view will revert the works order list.
