13379 -Can edit a Works Order within Sales Order view

Detailed Description

When a Sage sales order is open in view mode, it is still possible to edit a Sicon works order. Both the sales order line and the works order tab have this known issue:

This in turn could allow the user to Allocate the sales order if they were to follow through the steps to allocate, issue and complete the works order within this option.

Impact: Low

• Urgency | Ability to work affected; inconvenient.
• Impact |Single User Affected.

Workaround

Ideally users would edit works orders from the Edit Sales Order screen instead. It is unlikely a user would use the view option when they want to progress the works order, however, the buttons behave in the same way so it is deemed a low priority, low impact known issue.
