13848 – Price bands throwing an error when closing without an item selected

Detailed Description

If you have a large volume of data and Audit Log enabled, opening Prices for Price Band and then closing without selecting a Price Band results in an exception of type ‘System.OutOfMemoryException’ being thrown:

1. Within the Sage 200 menu, go to Sicon Auditing > Settings

2. Inside of Select A Module Below To Configure Settings, select Price Book and Enable Auditing

3. Go into  Price Book > Selling Prices > Prices for Price Band

4. Do not enter any information, close the form and the following error will appear:

Impact: Low

• Urgency | Ability to work not affected; inconvenient.
• Impact | All users affected.

Workaround

Note: This applies only to applications with a high number of records and if you encounter this error.

Before closing the Prices for Price Band screen, please ensure that a price band is selected. This will reduce the number of records that the audit log will attempt to cycle through.
