Detailed Description

When using the allow book before issue setting you have to manually complete a WO. When you have specified to use completion date for operational costs (as below) any book in variance is using the start date of the WO not the completion date like labour/machine operations, Overhead, Non stock & Subcontract.

• Urgency | Ability to work affected; workaround available.
• Impact | All users affected, but only if using the feature as described above.

Workaround

1. Change the WO start and due date to the completion date BEFORE completing the WO, Pay attention to the change operations message, select NO do not update operations dates.
2. Manually Journal the book in variance posting to be in the correct month.

We recommend that you test this option fully in a test company first to ensure it meets the clients requirement and all posting look correct.
