9080 – Timesheets posted via SFDC for zero value cost rates doesn’t properly set the cost rate type

Detailed Description

If you have set up an employee with a cost rate of 0:

Then enter & submit a timesheet for that employee in SFDC, the entered timesheet will appear in Sage without a rate set (i.e. “Rate” column will be blank in the Amend Timesheet form).

If you later need to manually amend the timesheet line, then it will error unless you manually select the rate for each row in the timesheet being amended. Therefore before you are able to save your edit, you will need to manually select a rate for each row that is blank.

• Urgency | Ability to work not affected; sufficient workaround available.
• Impact | All users affected.

Workaround

No impact if you don’t need to manually amend the Timesheet after initial submission.

If you do need to amend, work around is to manually select the cost rate type for each line on the timesheet before saving.
