Detailed Description

When using Projects in conjunction with Works Order Processing, Sage may display the above error message during processing a Purchase Invoice, preventing the user from continuing.

Although the error message does not appear to be a Sicon-specific error, testing on a vanilla Sage environment confirms that this message does not occur there, and the user can proceed without issue.

The issue appears to be environment-specific and, to date, has not been replicated during internal testing across multiple datasets and invoice examples.  Therefore, due to the potential risk of introducing wider issues, no changes will be made in the current release. However, this has been addressed as part of the Project Integration work included in early adopter releases of v26.

Workaround

• Upgrade to early adopter v25.2 or above of Sicon modules
• Alternatively, temporarily hide the Projects InitiatorCache from the users’ local app data folder while processing the impacted invoice.
