1.2. Step 2 - Finish existing WO's in Sage Manufacturing

1.3. Step 3 - Add all new WO's to Sicon Manufacturing

1.4. Step 4 - Sicon MRP manages stock demands

1.5. Step 5 - Use Sicon Manufacturing for all future WO's

2. What does a typical Sicon Manufacturing project look like, when coming from Sage Manufacturing?

Important Note: these are estimates based on a typical migration project from Sage 200 Manufacturing to Sicon Manufacturing for Sage 200 and therefore resource requirements may differ for more complex implementations. This applies to sites that have no Sicon modules installed or Sicon version 22.1 of other Sicon modules.

2.1. Installation

Installing Sicon Manufacturing is simple and can be done whilst your existing Sage Manufacturing software is still installed and running.

We estimate 1/2 day for remote installation.

2.2. PKO Call

Our Project Kick Off Call (PKO) will take around an hour and is an introductory remote session to enable us to get an initial idea of your business requirements. This session will also give us the opportinity to ensure we schedule the right people/teams for the next stages of the project.

We estimate 1/4 day for the remote PKO call.

2.3. BPR

The Business Process Review (BPR) will include a walk around your production area/shop floor, meaning we can fully understand your manufacturing processes. We will also utilise this time to start configuring system settings.

We estimate 2 days onsite for the BPR.

2.4. Implementation & Training

Implementation and Training will take approximately 3-4 days depending on the requirements of your business and the complexity of your manufacturing process. This will be broken down into multiple 1/2 day sessions.

We estimate 3-4 days remote Training and Implementation.

2.5. Go-Live

During this process we will go through a checklist to ensure the solution has been fully tested by the Customer and meets their business needs as set out in the initial project requirements, and to confirm that adequate training has been received on the systems in place. The project will be set as ‘live’ and subsequently the relevant  support contract will be activated.

We estimate 1 day for Go-Live and this can be done either remotely or onsite.

One year post go-live, we recommend ordering 1 day of consultancy to review your systems and ensure you are utilising the broad range of functionality within Sicon Manufacturing.
