1. Exporting Existing WAP Licencing Information

Log into WAP with Admin credentials and navigate to System Settings cogs – System Setup – System Settings – Misc tab – Licencing.

Licences can either be exported by copying the current licence string, or exporting the licence file; click ‘Apply new licence/download existing licence’ for these options.

To copy the licence string, click ‘Change licence string’ and then highlight the entire contents and copy to the clipboard.

To export the licence file, click ‘Export Licence File’ and download the file when prompted.

2. Applying a New WAP Licence

WAP licences can either be applied in two ways; either updating the string directly or importing a licence file.


2.1. Updating the Licence String Directly

Click ‘Change Licence String’ and delete the text within the licence string box.  Paste the new licence string into this box and click the ‘Update Licence String’ button.  Make sure to Save the System Settings to close.

2.2. Importing a Licence File

To upload a licence file (this will be in .lic format), click the Browse button and select the licence file received.

Once selected, click ‘Import Licence File’.  Make sure to Save the System Settings to close.
